What is Respite Care?

Respite care is temporary care provided by registered nurses, licensed practical nurses or home health aides. Such care allows families to take a break from the daily routine of care giving, while making sure that their child is receiving proper attention.  If you are interested in becoming a respite provider, please read the Reimbursement Guidelines for Respite Care below.
