American Academy of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry Information for families on understanding developmental, behavioral, emotional and mental disorders affecting children and adolescents. Available in English, Spanish, German and French. Bright Futures for Families Provides information on how parents and healthcare providers can be partners in caring for children. There is an interactive web page for exchanging ideas and tips about specific parenting issues. 	Family Village This site integrates information, resources and communication opportunities on the Internet for persons with mental retardation and other disabilities, for their families, and for those who provide them services and support. National Information Center for Children and Youth with Disabilities (NICHCY) NICHCY is the national information and referral center that provides resources on disabilities and disability-related issues for families, educators and other professionals. They provide free state resource sheets, a newsletter and other publications. Pennsylvania Developmental Disabilities Council Contains links to a multitude of informative web sites on topics, such as advocacy, legal, education, and other topics of interest to families.
